Fishermen sailing near the Island of Biak have been hauling in bodies…Two bodies were netted on July 9.  They had holes in their heads.  Then eight days later, four others were found, bound together with their wrists tied.  They were handed over to the military and have not been seen since.  On Monday, six more bodies washed up on five different beaches near Biak, and nine bodies were found on Tuesday.  At least one of the corpses has been identified as that of one of 31 people who disappeared on July 6 after the Indonesian army attacked 200 people who had raised the separatist flag of West Papua above a Biak water tower.”  Note: in 1998 West Papua was officially named “Irian Jaya.”
